Our trip to Colorado started in June but overlapped into July. We spent the 4th playing games and eating lots of food. We also squeezed in a birthday celebration for Maggie while we were there. One of our favorite things about the trip was the museum...there was so much to see and do. And we didn't even make it down to the Prehistoric exhibit to see all the dinosaurs, which was the whole reason we went!!When we got home, it was time for VBS which our entire family takes part in. This year, Gary was a vendor in the marketplace, I lead a group of 2 and 3 year olds and the girls were participants. It was great fun. One of the most amazing days was when Jesus (played by Dennis) visited the market. The whole place stood still and the kids flocked around him. It was awesome.
Molly picked up right where she left off in Colorado - outside! She loves playing outside so when Daddy finished the girls playground, she was in heaven. One day I found her playing with this bucket...I told her not to eat the sand and she yelled "NO" When I saw her face, I asked "Are you eating the sand?" and she said in the most innocent voice "no"...hmmm, really?
