Maggie has had a bunch of things this month...she did another great science fair project - can citrus fruit juice be used as invisible ink? She got the standard "3" not the highest mark like last year but we were okay with that. The project was actually kind of fun and even though we thought we knew exactly what was going to happen, it didn't. That made it more interesting than we expected.
Her indoor team took third. We were happy with that but so wished we could have beaten the second place team. They are not nice girls. And when you meet their parents/grandparents, it is pretty clear how they got that way. Maggie was racing down the field toward the goal and the grandfather of one of the players (and dad of the coach) yelled for their player to grab Mags by the ponytail. (gasp!) At first, I was not happy. But then I laughed it off because that was the only way that girl was going to catch my Maggie! Before we faced this team, I used to wonder how parents could get into a fist fight at a little league game. Now I know.
Molly was slated to start dance class but they over booked the class so now we have to wait and see if we have a slot. That was a bummer. But in the meantime, she's working on her singing career.
Pretend you didn't see that massive pile of laundry behind her. And for the record, I do comb her hair...just hadn't yet.
