and this sink are the others.
The house is a farm house from the 1950s built on a cement slab. Some people would call it small...and they'd be right. By today's standards, it is. But I love it. The potential and charm of this old house can't compare to the cookie-cutter houses they build today.
It has been a big undertaking and we are just scratching the surface of what it could be. Here is what it looked like when we bought it.
(COMING SOON)
Our biggest project has been the exterior face lift. We re-sided the house, replaced windows and doors, upgraded the insulation and repaired all the dry rot. It was not easy. We found that one part of the house had been lined with old newspapers from 1957. That's the kind of stuff we love!
We've spent our days since doing some work on the inside. It's kind of funny. We started inside and reached a place where we were content with it. Then we went to work on the outside...and the drywall inside cracked and shifted with all the pulling and pounding happening outside. So it was back to work on the inside again!
